The latest reports from the VC selection process in UNN show that Governor of Enugu state is having issues imposing his unqualified candidate even after spending over N1 billion on the prochancellor and Chairman of Council.
Attempts to change the scores submitted to the Prochancellor by committee members have been so far resisted by the transparency of the women elected by the university senate as members of the selection committee.
The council meeting scheduled for 2pm today has been shifted three times and may not progress unless the corrupted Prochancellor retracts his unenviable path to impose a candidate that was disqualified by the DSS. It is still surprising that he allowed the candidate to be interviewed knowing fully well that he was not fit for the office.
The quiet town of Nsukka is being heated up as many of the candidates from Nsukka are more qualified than the candidate of Governor Mbah.
