Distinguished Leaders, Members of the Biase Legislative Council, Supervisory Councilors, Traditional Rulers, Youths, Women, Friends of Biase both at home and in the diaspora, Ladies and Gentlemen,
With a heart full of gratitude and renewed commitment to service, I welcome you all to this special season, marking one year of determined leadership, partnership, and progress in Biase Local Government Area.
Exactly one year ago, by the grace of God and your trust, we began a journey not merely to occupy office, but to redefine governance; to prove that leadership at the grassroots can be visionary, inclusive, transparent, and impactful.
Over the past twelve months, our administration has worked diligently to plant the seeds of development in every corner of Biase.
Despite the challenges facing our local government, we have shown that results are possible when leadership is guided by integrity, focus, and the fear of God.
Today, as we mark our One Year in Office, I am proud to present some of these achievements that speak for themselves:
Peace and Conflict Resolution has been our priority in this Government.
We brokered a landmark Peace Accord uniting ten Erei communities.
Mediated reconciliation between Biakpian and Etono II communities.
Restored peace in Akpet No.1, resolving disputes among traditional leaders, youth, and women.
Settled leadership conflicts in Igbofia Traditional Council (Ehom Ward) and Akpet Central.
Promoted inter-state harmony by mediating the Abia – Cross River boundary dispute.
This administration constituted the Biase Executive Council and Transition Committee for effective policy coordination.
Appointed key officials to strengthen administrative efficiency.
Established the Anti-Illegal Activities Taskforce to combat unlawful practices.
And; formed the Biase Cultural Committee to preserve and promote local heritage.
We by God’s grace installed and rehabilitated solar-powered boreholes in Abanwan, Afono, Ibini, Ipene, Umuolor, and two at the council secretariat, Akpet Central.

I appointed youth leaders to drive grassroots innovation and development.
Promoted women’s participation in governance through key supervisory and decision-making roles.
Conclusively,
In just one year, we have a new benchmark for transformational leadership in Biase. My administration focus on peace, inclusive governance, infrastructure, education, health, and empowerment.
All these projects are genuine, visible, and recently verified by the Cross River State projects monitoring team.
Please, let us remain united as we move Biase forward together in peace, progress, and purpose.
Thank you, and God bless Biase Local Government Area.
God bless Cross River State.
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
