Gov. Otu Delivers 500KVA Transformer to Nsefik Layout, Orders Replacement at Lemna/River Park View
In continuation of the statewide distribution of transformers to communities with damaged substations, the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, has delivered a 500KVA transformer to residents of Nsefik Layout and parts of Atekong Street in Calabar Municipality.
The intervention is aimed at restoring and improving power supply in the affected areas that have been experiencing outages due to faulty power infrastructure.
Governor Otu has also directed the immediate replacement of the damaged transformer serving residents of Lemna and River Park View Estate to ensure that electricity is restored to the communities without delay.
Speaking, the Director General of the Cross River State Electrification Agency Mr. Francis Ekpo, assured residents of the Governor’s commitment to improving electricity supply across the state.
He noted that the ongoing intervention demonstrates the administration’s resolve to address electricity challenges and ensure improved power supply for residents of Cross River State.
