In a celebration of unwavering commitment and remarkable dedication to Humanitarian gestures, the organiser of the annual FACE OF CROSS RIVER honoured Helen Isamoh-Egodo (PhD), the CRS commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and poverty alleviation as the Humanitarian icon of the year.

Renowned for her unyielding passion and tireless endeavours in supporting humanitarian aid and programs committed to expediting the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals in Cross River state and beyond, Dr Helen is a noble Nigerian who believes that wealth must be used as a force for good, above all other things.

Her contributions span a wide spectrum of humanitarian endeavours.These range from providing essential aid in conflict and disaster areas in Northern senatorial district of CRS likewise economic empowerment of the underserved.

Mr Chris Banks Edet on behalf of CK Production commended the commissioner not only for her tangible contributions but also for her altruistic leadership and unwavering dedication to humanitarianism and national development.

Dr Helen Isamoh-Egodo in her speech expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon her. She emphasised that the award serves as motivation and a call to go the extra mile in empowering more Cross Riverians and Nigerians at large. She reaffirmed her commitment to continue striving towards creating a Cross River state where compassion and support are extended to all, regardless of tribe or circumstance.

Continuing, she reassured the team of absolute government support in every activities relating to humanity

The award presentation was done yesterday 21st MARCH 2024 by Miss Marvelous Martins, the ALLURING QUEEN 2023 at the CRS ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and poverty alleviation
