WHY HAS HON EDODI EYONG NOT PRESENTED HIS BUDGET?

Someone should make it make sense to me why the chairman of Biase has deliberately refused to present his budget for over 14 months in office yet he is spending money without proper appropriation

Yesterday, Ogoja LGA chairman, Hon. Chris Agbeh, presented the 2025 budget to the legislatures. Giving to his duties and responsibilities, he has lived up expectations and i applaud him for being upright.

BIASE LGA has been without budget since the Chairman, Hon. EDODI EYONG took over office.

But I sincerely don’t blame the chairman of council given that the rubber stamp 7TH legislative assembly doesn’t are bereft or ideas and knowledge on the modus operandi of the LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

BIASE 7TH legislative assembly is the only assembly in CRS where Councillors didn’t present one year scorecard despite collecting legislative votes for doing nothing not even the leader of COUNCIL has PUFF PUFF or KULI KULI to show

It’s a shame that young people who were active media savvy before nominated as councilors do not know how to tell their own story and the only answer is lack of what to write given that they have done nothing apart from drinking beer and gossiping

The only function that was successfully carried out by this assembly was the screening of SUPERVISORS for a FEE of over ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY THOUSAND (150K ) per SUPERVISOR

I believe there are committees to run oversight functions yet no evidence of visits to our primary schools by committee on education neither have I seen the committee on health visiting our dilapidated primary health care centers or maybe the SUPERVISORS do not have a job description apart from drinking beer and eating suya at BOGOBIRI?

Leadership in Biase is like a baby that’s learning how to crawl given that we are light years backward from what people in other LGAs are doing

The Ikom chairman had since presented her budget but the Chairman of Biase LGA is spending money without proper appropriation and the Councillors are shinning teeth in public and crying behind

Some of them even accused the SA DUE PROCESS, Mr EMMANUEL EGWU of taking over the jobs of supervisors & other aides given that he is an IN-LAW to the chairman of council

In their words ” Emmanuel EGWU is doing the job of Chief of staff, Protocol, PA & Supervisor for works ETC.

Three (3) of the Councillors even alleged that the chairman has committed multiple impeachable offenses but he is still walking free because of Same party factor and Governor Otu’s effect

However, they promised to furnish me with all the impeachable offenses committed by the chairman of council and I will publish it for the people of BIASE to see…

Leadership in the local government should be in accordance with the constitution of Nigeria and not a beer palour or family business

The Chairman has done well in terms of projects but administratively he has failed woefully
